DJ Drama Releases A Statement Regarding Jeezy’s Comments…

After reading Jeezy’s unprovoked insults in that XXL article, it seems like the guy’s pretty emotional if u ask me! Maybe he’s dealing wit some things in his career, I don’t know. He did an interview a few months back with Elliot Wilson on rapradar.com and said the total opposite! He was talkin bout, “Drams the homie and we may work together again, etc”. Now I’ve never spoken on our issues because I believe grown man business is just that, and running to the media to whine is not my thing.
Most importantly, his statement about me trying to charge him $20k for a mixtape is a BOLD FACE LIE. I never charged Jeezy for nuthin’. I did 2 Slick Pulla tapes (4th Ward Day, Election Day) for free and a Bloodraw tape (The Indictment Papers) for free. Anything Jeezy ever needed from me, I did without hesitation. He doesn’t want to deal with the real reason why he’s mad.

The tension between us actually started when I deejayed his USDA release party (FOR FREE) and I played a Gucci Mane record. He stormed out of his own party and didn’t speak to me for about 2-3 months. Me being a DJ, I was just rockin’ the crowd and giving the people what they had been requesting. I don’t get involved in that other stuff.

I could go deeper into his angry reaction to me working with Gucci but, again, I’m a stand-up guy. I’m loyal to those who are loyal to me. I’m not even thinkin bout Jeezy. Why all the tough talk to the dj who doesn’t say nothin to him but he doesn’t say nothin tough to the rappers that diss him like Pimp C?

I was shocked by his cowardly attempt to try to slander my name in the upcoming XXL article. And what’s the most shocking is to see him side with the FEDs in my arrest! Wow, since when did that become gangster?!? I’m chillin, never said nuthin’ negative about dude. Check his character…or better yet, ask those around him that he’s done dirty. Ask the folks who ain’t with him anymore, like Coach K, Twin, his former security Big Sam, or my homie Roccett…

We doin’ our thing over here. I’m workin on albums, Gangsta Grillz Vol 3., traveling the world and celebrating success! And I’m still the Mixtape President!

From K-Fed to K-Fat…

Kevin Federline drew stares when he attended a celebrity sporting event Monday, but it wasn’t for his golfing skills.
The former dancer stunned onlookers with his massive new size.

According to Hood-Hop, when an employee at the Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic saw the large-and-in-charge Federline, he reportedly said, “Man, that’s a belly on him! That’s K-Fed?!”

Celebs like Verne Troyer, Frankie Delgado and Josh Henderson participated in the physical sport, while Federline, 31, apparently took it easy and spent time with girlfriend Victoria Prince in the shade sipping cocktails and smoking cigarettes.

This isn’t the first time the expanding father of four has packed on the pounds.

Federline was mocked for flaunting a fuller figure last spring. However his ex Shar Jackson was quick to come to his defense.

“It’s daddy weight!” said Jackson, the mother of Federline’s two oldest children. “When you are a full-time parent, sometimes you can’t focus on you. If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life’s not too bad!”

Maybe there is some truth to rumors his other ex Britney Spears has been calling him “K-Fatter-line” behind his burgeoning back!

Someone may need to remind Federline, who is reportedly angling for a reality show about his life as a father and with Prince, that the camera adds 10 pounds.

That is, unless the reality show K-Fed is looking to join is “Celebrity Fit Club.”

So Gatti killed himself…?

Gatti Death Boxing

A Brazilian police investigation has determined that the death of boxer Arturo Gatti was a suicide and a court has ordered the release of his wife, once suspected of killing him, officials said Thursday.

Lead investigator Paulo Alberes told The Associated Press authorities found that Gatti killed himself on July 11 in a seaside resort in northeastern Brazil.

When asked if police had determined the case was a suicide, Alberes said “yes.” He offered no other details, but said he would hold a news conference later in the day.

A day after Gatti was found dead, police said that his 23-year-old Brazilian wife, Amanda Rodrigues, had strangled him with her purse strap as he drunkenly slept.

But police began to back off the accusation about a week later after a coroner’s report said that Gatti may have killed himself as he was found hanged and suspended. Rodrigues’ lawyer said at the time that proved his client’s innocence because she could not have physically lifted Gatti.

A spokeswoman for the Pernambuco state court in the city of Recife confirmed that judge Ildete Verissimo de Lima ordered the release of Rodrigues.

The judge wrote in the ruling that police informed the court that “the detention of the suspect was no longer needed” as the investigation “excludes the possibility of murder.”

“The victim … committed suicide by hanging,” Lima’s ruling read, referring to the police investigation findings.

Rodrigues will walk out of jail Thursday afternoon, said her lawyer, Celio Avelino.

Gatti was found dead in the apartment he was renting with Rodrigues in the resort town of Porto de Galinhas.

The pair, who had a tumultuous marriage, had arrived there a few days before Gatti’s death for a second honeymoon. The couple brought their 10-month-old son, who was unhurt and is in the care of Rodrigues’ family in Brazil.

The 37-year-old Gatti, who captured two world titles in his 16-year pro career, retired in 2007 with a record of 40-9.

Gatti’s family and friends in his adopted hometown of Montreal have denied the accusation the boxer could have killed himself.

“Nobody believes whatsoever that there’s even a 1 percent chance of a suicide. He lived life to the fullest,” Ivano Scarpa, a close Gatti family friend, said at the boxer’s July 20 funeral service in Canada.

But Rodrigues, in a July 15 letter that she handed over to the AP from prison, said: “I’m innocent and I know that this will be proven in a few days.”

Young Money rapper Drake has been forced to pull out of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival tour.

According to reports, Drake had hoped to have recovered enough from a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) to perform a 30-minute set, but the painful injury is still causing him problems – and, as a result, he has had to cancel his solo slot altogether.

“I’m not doing my own set. That’s one thing I have to apologize to my fans about. It’s too much of a risk, if I hit that wrong turn (doing) 30 minutes every night. If I tear my ACL again, the doctors say I might not be able to walk again. I have to be cautious,” Drake tells MTV News.

Drake says that he will still try to join Weezy and other Young Money members on featured songs.

Kanye’ declares himself the “New King of Pop”…

Just when we thought Kanye couldn’t put his own LV sneaker any further down his throat, he hops out the woodworks with this statement.

You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop and I’m willing to take that on. There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in kanye west respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King,” said West.

“First there was Elvis, then there was Michael, now in the 21st century its Kanye’s time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”
