Alexander Amosu claims to have created the world’s most expensive diamond encrusted BlackBerry, crafted in solid 18 carat yellow gold and encrusted with 4,459 brilliant cut diamonds (weighing 28.43 carats).

The handset is personalized with your name or company logo and comes with a 24-hour global concierge service. Only three diamond-encrusted BlackBerrys will ever be made, and of which one handset costing $200,366 has already been sold to a client in the Middle East.

 Hood-Hop learned that 50 Cent ISN’T FINISHED going at rival rapper Fat Joe. The following message was put up on 50 Cent’s website:

After a long weekend of activities, including performing, throwing a festival in his old neighborhood in Queens, and preparing for his upcoming Thisis50 Concert, 50 Cent has definitely been working hard.

This afternoon while in his Manhattan offices, employees say that 50 Cent was listening to Fat Joe’s new album, “J.O.S.E. 2″ when all the sudden, he collapsed! An ambulance was called, and by the time they arrived, 50 Cent regained consciousness and was complaining of blurred vision and a severe migraine. 50 Cent was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital at 4:26 pm.

Doctors say after performing a Cat Scan and EKG there seems to be some damage to his auditory cortex, which is the region of the brain that is responsible for processing sound.

The Sporting News named Lakers guard Kobe Bryant the NBA Player of the Decade Thursday (September 24), saying he’s the only player in the “history of the sport” who is has “hell bent” on improving every off-season as Kobe.

Kobe was up against the San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan for the honor, taking it with just 55% of the voting over the Texas center. However, Duncan was named Player of the Year twice by SN, back in 2002 and 2003, while Kobe only earned the honor once in 2008.

Here’s the two players’ numbers in comparison:

Bryant: 28.2 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 5.2 apg, one MVP, four titles
Duncan: 21.2 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 3.3 asp, two MVPs, three titles

Even Shaq weighed in, saying he had never played with some “as fierce” as the Lakers superstar:

“The thing about Kobe is that, over the course of my career, I have never played with anyone who was as fierce as he is. By fierce I mean just having that extra killer instinct that you know when the game is on the line he is not going to shy away from the big shot, he is not going to make excuses. If we would go into the fourth quarter, playoffs or just some game in the season and we were within a little bit of the other team, Kobe was not going to shy away from the challenge of getting the win. He was going to take the shots.”

Dr. Dre has done so well with his technology collaborations — specifically his headphones line, Beats By Dre — that he’s teaming up with another electronics company for yet another product.

According to WhoooHa.com, the legendary producer has teamed up with a collabo version of HP’s laptop, the HP Envy. As you can see from the photos, it features the recognizable “Beats” logo as well.

The company calls the collabo the “Mac killer,” and will not only boast a sleek design, but also feature cutting edge sound. HP says the laptop will feature a “cutting-edge” sound system, named “Beats Audio,” designed by Dr. Dre’s sound engineers, who help develop Dre’s tracks and design the Beats by Dre headphone line.

HP says: “[Dre has] … a unique, high-performance audio software solution. Available exclusively on the HP Envy, Beats Audio offers users playing music or audio through headphones or external speakers the optimal sound experience — the way the artist intended it.”

Further details about the laptop and software were not revealed, but it’s expected to hit sores on October 18th, and will retail for $1,699.

There’s rumors the purchase also includes a pair of Beats by Dre headphones, but this was not confirmed at press time.
